Field Safety Services
South Jersey Safety provides site safety services for its client firms. Field Safety Services include:
- Site safety planning.
- Site inspections of physical hazards, unsafe work practices and corrective actions.
- Incident investigations.
- Preparation and delivery of safety toolbox talks.
- Representing the client to other firms on site.
- Competent person duties for excavations, ladders and other equipment.
- Health exposure assessments and industrial hygiene monitoring.
- Selection and maintenance of personal protective equipment.
- Qualitative respirator fit testing.
- Develop and implement site-specific procedures including lockout tagout, confined space entry, rigging and lift plans, and fall protection plans.
- Safety oversight for shutdown operations.
We help clients identify, evaluate, and control hazards that could harm employees, the public, operations, or other companies on site.
Since field safety is most effective when jobs are well planned and designed, field safety services may include providing engineering work, such as designing a horizontal life-line in a fall protection system, preparing site-specific work plans, engineering a work platform, or assessing environmental exposure reports.
